This statement should motivate you to vote for change.
This statement convinced me to be the change agent for our schools
by running for WCCS school board for Thorncreek Township.
Good schools start with good leadership focused on student achievement, accountability, community trust, and the courage to do what's right. Angela Bauer brings experienced leadership to the table having served as an engaged educator for 30+ years.
Changes that need to begin: include a new highly effective superintendent (Dr. Trent Lehman - done!), engaged board discussions, everyone (school board, admin, teachers and students) held to a higher standard, better school cultures and workplace environments through improved leadership, and a fiscally responsible budget with no new referendum.
How can this be done? By living out a simple commitment from day one: be someone everyone can trust, even when they disagree—because integrity is for everyone. As we approach the next election in November, remember where we have been and where we are going. Angela brings the experience, integrity, and community mindedness to begin working with the board and new Superintendent to make each day better than the one before.

Our vision is to be the School District of Choice for families, even from our neighboring counties. That can only happen when WCCS school board and administration are doing what they are supposed to do: focusing on students and families first. Our district has a high rate of students within our district staying here. I would like to continue to attract students from neighboring counties.
Traditional American values, conservative thinking, and effective board work can rebuild trust in our school board and administration.
